The drone home delivery market is estimated to be at $30 billion with companies like USPS, UPS, Amazon and others all vying to compete in the space, however drone companies do not have to look far to see which state is emerging as a leader in the drone market: Oklahoma. The state of Oklahoma was recently ranked number 1 in the Nation by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University for its friendly airspace laws, growing workforce and innovative programs emerging to bolster industry development – programs like OSU’s Unmanned Systems Research Institute (first-in-the-nation graduate-level UAV concentration), Oklahoma’s Advance Mobility Pilot Program and one of Tulsa Innovation Lab’s 5 focus areas.
